Well "noisapnp" worked but the "pnpbios=off" didn't and I still hung up
in the same spot.

Then it just hangs and sits there doing nothing.
Try booting the kernel with the parameter "pnpbios=off". If that
doesn't work, try "pnpbios=off noisapnp".
