Sounds good. But how would I do that?
I have the SCU disk which I have to use to change BIOS settings, unlike a normal MB where you just hit del.
I looked for something like that and nothing.

I used the rescue disk to get into the box. Did a chroot /mnt to get access. Edited the etc/lilo.conf file then ran lilo to activate it.
In my default boot I added both lines to "append=" line.

you could try telling the bios that you do not have a pnp bios.
