I would suggest Mandrake. It's set up with kde as default to look like Windows. Red Hat's not set up that way - but I installed Red Hat 8.0 or 9.0 for a family - formerly Windows XP users - and gave them my email address, etc, if they had any problems, and so far I've only had a "This thing's up and running and we love it" email from them, so things must be doing fine.
