lpq and lprm are your friend. After removing the job with lprm, I run "ps ax" and kill the "cat" process that is actually feeding the stream to the parport. Then the printer is only printing what's already been sent to it, and the buttons on the front of the printer take care of that. That's how it works on my own box. Yuri
