On looking at your own message to the list i note this from the headers: Received: from gollum.snap.net.nz (gollum.snap.net.nz [202.37.101.26]) by loki.snap.net.nz (Postfix) with ESMTP id 064D48B26 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Thu, 17 Jun 2004 20:43:29 +1200 (NZST) Received: from mail by gollum.snap.net.nz with spam-scanned (Exim 3.35 #1 (Debian)) id 1BasUQ-0001HI-00 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Thu, 17 Jun 2004 20:43:28 +1200 Received: from p56-tnt2.snap.net.nz ([202.124.108.56] helo=infohelp.co.nz) by gollum.snap.net.nz with esmtp (Exim 3.35 #1 (Debian)) id 1Ban69-0003oM-00 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Thu, 17 Jun 2004 14:57:54 +1200
ie your ISP (gollum.snap.net.nz) received it at 14:57:54 but didn't spam check it until 20:43:28. I conclude that gollum is probably probably underpowered to cope with scanning its mail queue. It is probably faring just as badly with mail being sent to you. therefore mail takes a long time to reach you. Time for another ISP?
