IHUG uses Telecom for their ADSL. I trust Telecom for nothing. IHUG does
offer a reasonable satellite service. Perhaps that warrants investigation

Don't _ever_ attempt to use satellite for any kind of interactive work! The 800ms latency drives you mad, even on ssh, let alone anything graphical. I think the worst is a remote desktop into Windoze over a pptp 'vpn'!

PS. You think telecom's bad. You cannot contact BT Broadband business 'services' by telephone, or even fax, and there was never a response to emails within a week! Even refusing to pay them took 6 months before they noticed!
