In the fine tradition of CLUG, here is notice of our forthcoming gathering:
*Sydenham Community Association Hall, 25 Hutcheson Street, Sydenham* *Wednesday 30th June 2004, 7.30pm*
Objectives:
1. Annual social event, to meet, greet & answer list-names, with conviviality. Bring a few beers &/or some snacks. Minors must bring an accompanying adult on this occasion.
You've convinced me (beer does that, I think I'll bring some)... :-)
Do you need a very well specced and setup Mandrake 10.0 Official demonstration machine? My AthlonXP 2500+ is itching to show off... :-)
not sure what these demo machines on wednesday are all about. it'd be great to practice some installs, but once you've seen mandrake running, do you need to see it again? Of course if there are people on the list who are toying with coming to the fest for an installation, it would be v.cool to show them.
Otherwise i'm gonna want to put a cd in and reinstall.....
I will bring the beast...my setup is mega-friendly, so anyone who wants to see that Linux can infact be user-friendly would like playing with my system...
