I have one ether net connection in my room at the office, but sometimes I bring the laptop in and have to unplug the desktop to use the lappie on the net. frustrating.
I am in no position to be running more wiring from the hub room to my office. I have a 5 port 10M hub that I could use within my room, but it seems rather overkill, and will slow these two boxes down to 10M. I cannot use one of these http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/40e3529d0a787aa8273fc0a87f990777/Product/View/XH4247 because at the hub end the wiring is terminated on a 110 style punch down block.
