It's fairly well documented by IBM that ServeRAID controllers should be
run with matching firmware and driver levels.  It sounds like the
firmware on your controller has been changed, and you haven't bothered
to use the correct driver version.  As a result of this, you're know
trying to run the system in an unsupported and possibly dangerous
configuration.

Downgrade the firmware to match the driver, or upgrade the driver to
match the firmware.
