No boot from CD in BIOS only A or C
alternatively, you could try making your boot floppies on a linux box. II dont have a linux box at the moment and I was going to try and repartion and install linux(mandrake, lycoris) and reinstall win 98 on another box on saturday but I spent all my time trying to make ipcop boot disks. Then again I would not know how to make one with linux.
am not sure whats going wrong with rawrite, but I confess to not using
rawrite for many moons.
why is it you need to wait for a floppy drive to replace the allegedly
broken one? they are a dime a dozen in computer stores.
Brought one online at Assent. It was easier for me to get one delivered than to leave work during business hours to get one.
on the other hand, if the floppy is some proprietary job, then that could be the problem...
