Unfortunately the guy rang in and said no thaks he just wants us to install X11 and OOo. Colin seems to like this choice too :-/
Is the end user aware that they won't be able to copy and paste between applications in their X environment and their OSX environment? eg. If they have some text in a native OSX application, they won't be able to paste it in to OOo and vice versa.
I'll probably be doing his install, he's part of the local Mac User Group (AUGC), and so am I.
I've found copy/paste problems between X and Quartz to be helped along with the quartz-wm window manager that Apple ship, but still not perfect.
