There are some minor differences with the CPU core. For example the earlier Durons are based on the origional Athlon core rather than the AthlonXP core. The AthlonXP's had sse support while the standard Athlons didn't. So the early Durons (1GHz or lower "I think"!) lack sse while the later ones based on the Athlon XP should have it I think 1.4GHz+ I'm not sure about the Duron's between 1 and 1.4 Ghz. Not that really makes a massive difference except that sse can be enabled on the AthlonXP based chips. chad
