There are some minor differences with the CPU core. For example the earlier Durons are based on the origional Athlon core rather than the AthlonXP core.
Yup, and with later revision Durons (1.1 GHz or later) there are surface mount components on top of the die, of which the observant may notice some are missing...replace those and you actually enable the full cache size and other parts inherent on the die that make the chip into a full AthlonXP...
