I thought about this too post-post (;-) When you said harddrive install,
did you mean opening each box to attach one temporarily? - Slow &
guaranteed to introduce faults & more delays, if servicing a group,
imho. Setting up a server (I thought you meant) is also unnecessary
fuss, when everyone has a CD player (hopefully bootable) now. I just
assumed you meant a networked harddrive, which we can easily make work,
and a bottleneck.

Network installation is dead simple.
You just copy the files to an ftp repository first and use a boot floppy on
the install machine.
I have done it several times.
Saves burning CD's too.
They'll need to take them home for adding programs, I thought.
