well the network speed will inevitably suffer, but how many people want
the install anyway?

OTOH the install is going to produce bursts of activity - download one
or more packages, rpm them, download a package, rpm it etc. 

rpm'ing involves basically uncompressing and untarring (although it is
cpio IIRC), so that will produce a quiet spot on the network. 

Is it sufficient to say though, that I have done it between two
computers on a 10M lan, so 4 or 5 on a 100M lan should work.
