Security issues always require thought and configuration ;) I've played around with Mozilla/Firefox kiosk, and an internal browser based keyboard the main issues for user friendlyness was the lack of error messages when the user tried to browse unavailable sites (ie. accessing non local-sites without a net connection) I suppose running a copy of squid with some custom error pages might work - but that was too much effort at the time. We were running with the twm-kiosk window manager which was in essence no window manager but just enough so that dialog boxes didn't take up full screen. Sascha
