Can anybody recommend good laptops? I have had some very good milage with Asus, and Asus is well represented in these parts . . .
I have had quite a bit of success with IBM Thinkpads and Toshiba TE2000's and TE2100's Not sure about modems though but I have all other hardware working with various distros.
