I emailled the list last week regarding laptops... well, I decided to get a new desktop instead (2.4GHz box cost $850..sweet!)
So now I running Mandrake10. I�ve got the modem working in it (a smartlink), and now would love to ask what applications you use/recommend... here is what I�m currently using:
Web: Conqueror 3.2.0 Mail: Kontact 0.8 FTP: KBear 2.1 Office: OpenOffice 1.1 Desktop: KDE 3.2 IDE: not tried any yet! Graphics: Gimp
Any advice/recommendations on great applications?
