I'm in too - on any day after work that Nick finds suitable. And December's ok too.

Super. Great.

[A thought for the informal future: Maybe we want to make a regular day each month for the pub gathering: Tues or Thurs? - Rob can pick - the 2nd or 4th in the month.]
What it won't do though is attract the members whose budgets preclude pubfare.
-----Original Message-----I recommend a February start, as a promoter of "work-life balance", whereby adequate space is allowed for people to have adequate holidays.

It would be good if we were able to have an end-of-year/Xmas social that evening too, so we will need to make such a booking soon.
How about at a bar or restaurant? Just a few drinks and anyone who wants food can order it and eat it. somewhere casual, no booking needed.
The Jolly Poacher has pretty good casual fare, from toasted sandwiches
upwards.
Pencil in the third Wednesday of the month, starting January?
Any objections?
If there's no call for a St Albans hall meet Nov/Dec04 soon, I shall retarget my meeting organising on to Feb05. Ok?It'd be good if we could have something in St Albans this year,.. this month?..
