As to your linux key repeating issue, I suggest that you search google for "linux key repeating", and read some of the answers that are turned up.

Yes, it's DEFINITELY a bug in the o/s... It's certainly NOT the hardware (as confirmed herein, below). Bugs are buggy... :$ So, anyone know anyone who can sort this issue out in the SuSE/KDE o/s...? Can't use the o/s fully with these kinds of bugs happening... (it's like the o/s has a constant virus, that a virus killer program won't solve). Bugger!
