I have given up on Drake for now myself. Switched to Suse 9.2 and love it (thanks Volker).

The upgrade from 10 to 10.1 fixed sound but broke ethernet and utterly barfed on wireless. It fixed acpi but broke many other things. Seems drake takes one step forward and 2 back with every release. I am happy to recommend drake still but they are not the only 'desktop distro' on the block anymore and they need to raise their QC game to be honest. I am still a club member and appreciate what drake have done but there are others worthy of consideration now. The 2 things I miss most from drake: URPMI and PLF. Oh and they have a great set of packages available, nopt all of which can be found for SUSE - I am looking though!!

Cheers

Jason

I recently saw someone mentioning that Mandrake 10.1 had some problems. I think it was Yuri.

What I would like to know is...
were they very bad and
what peoples general opinion of Mandrake 10.1 are as I am thinking that I will either upgrade to 10.1 or maybe go Suse if 10.1 is looking too flaky.
