Jim, I can recommend a guy who repairs monitors and PSU's at home, if he is 
still about, his prices are quite reasonable imo, and he is very good at it.

Visual Tech 366 1135 have always been great for/to me .. problem is with 
a 21" CRT they weigh a million kgs ..
I'm slowly switching to LCDs .. now that 17" fast response monitors can 
be had for under $500 .. for another $150 you can get 19" which pretty 
much gives you the same screen real-estate as a 21" CRT.
I was in ComputerBroker yesterday they have some 2nd hand 19" Philips 
for $199 - a tad high I thought but might be useful to someone.
