Yes I know that there are different ways of doing it but I do not know which is the best way.
That is, before the gib board goes on I can change my methods. My current thinking was that the method I use at the moment (although the cables would not lie across the floor) is tried and true - s-video to rca for the video and sound card to rca for the audio. So I could rune the same type of cables in the walls.
