Wired will always be an order of magnitude faster than wireless, IMHO.
Furthermore, 15 wireless devices would share their bandwidth like on a
hub (I think, please correct me) while 15 devices connected to a good
switch can all talk to eachother at full speed, and even in full
duplex.

Do you need 200Mbps? Not if you're just sharing a 2Mbps internet
connection, but if you're streaming and/or moving files within the
home LAN, then faster is better.

Cat 5e/6 will also allow for 1Gbps. Ducting will allow for even faster
wires to be pulled through in future, so when wireless gets to 10Gbps,
you can pull through some fibre for 1Tbps.[1]

[1] Yes, I do believe that if/when wireless reaches 10Gbps, wired will
