Try and prove where an email came from. We all know its easy to fake
email addresses, headers, ip addresses and the rest. 

The legal consequences of email are far more likely to be a writ for
defamation than anything else LOL. In fact one Mr Morrell of Smoothwall
fame (infamy?) did threaten me with that once. I was happy to follow the
ipcop fork....
