You should really use -print0 for find and and -0 for xargs if they're
available on your platform. Unfortunately, they are GNU/vendor
extensions, so you can't assume they're always available.
$ find / -name \*X\*log\* -print0 | xargs -0 ls -ld
Note that find(1) already provides similar ls(1) style output, anyway,
so the whole xargs(1) statement can be dropped:
$ find / -name '*X*log*' -ls
