Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and advice. I feel more confident about what I am doing now, and most of the info is now archived in the list for future reference. The thing that put me off originally (as someone also mentioned) is the exorbitant price charged for this service by my ISP. Fortunately there are many others to choose from with reasonable prices.
