No, perfectly correct :-) Excepting s/should/could/ (s/sh/c/, more concisely but less legibly)
Of course, there's always the option of a GNU group, that effectively supports users of/interest in Free Software (regardless of its GNUness, that is - dependant on the compatibility of it's license with GNU, perhaps), regardless of computing platform.
Cygwin runs perfectly well on Windows machines - indeed, Cygnus (the originators) were basically the first company making money from Free Software :-)
BSD drew no support and was consequently dropped from the general purview
I suspect the same would be true of some of my other suggestions, too.
