Have you got the latest version of flpsed? Only the latest version can
import pdf's directly, otherwise you need to convert them to a ps file
first.

PDF2PS converts a PDF file to PostScript using GhostScript.
You may need to modify the text of PDF2PS to set the correct path for
GhostScript.
Usage:
        pdf2ps file.pdf file.ps

Then you may have to use pstopdf or ps2pdf to convert back.

Regards,

Robert

Subject: Re: flpsed

Downloaded Volker's .rpm (many thanks and apologies for any undue stress
caused)...loaded via YaST..OK.

Click on .pdf document (as Yuri...from IRD) 'Open With'..'flpsed'...

flpsed screen opens (no tiger graphic as per download website) and mouse
icon
turns to a clock (as per the computer is doing something)..but the hands are

not moving.

Moving the clock icon up to the header menu in flpsed I can access the menu
items...but trying to open or import a .pdf document will not work

..any more (dare I suggest polite) suggestions?

Thanks
Ralph

Ps. I would really have liked to have been at the CLUG meet on Tuesday to
have
seen the presentation on flpsed but unfortunately it clashed with a Korfball

refereeing commitment.
