I started with Java 1.4. Later I tried BlitzBasic, Perl and C++ (in that
order) and saw that I could do everything and much more more easily in
Java. The only other language I use occasionally is PHP for simple
server-sided scripting and python because the over-head for Java is
sometimes a bit too big.
