Take great care with this one, because not only does it clean out your distfiles but it brings your distfiles up to date by downloading any missing ones from the server.


I copied the command from the wiki page and started it as a script.
It started d/l all sorts of things and I pressed ^C. The emerge statement was killed and the rest of the script executed.


Result: I have now lost the 400 ~ 500 megs of source distfiles I was going to bring to the party on Saturday.

A far politer response than I would have managed at this point.

Anything I can d/l at school tomorrow? Need to get our moneysworth out of this massively underused telstra link! I can only stream so much audio without cloning extra ears.

Currently downloading the Whitebox 4 rc1... but I realise that's got a limited audience ( and should be completed by the time I get in tomorrow )!
