Hello Nick, others

Am going to try the net install route as it offers the best hope of keeping a 
server up to date and doing updates etc for a live working system.

obviously am playing with it on a temp box at present but pain = learning and 
the closer to basic install I can do then the more i will learn :-}

I had heard of the apt get type system debian employed so am keen to see how it 
goes over the internet.
