There was a problem at one stage, in that if the compiling instance
caught up to the prefetch instance then the compiling instance would
start downloading the same source file as the prefetch instance, with
corruption ensuing. However some time ago they fixed this by putting a
lock file in, so if the compiling instance catches up to the prefetch
instance, it will just wait for the package to download and then start
compiling it.
