If you connect *to* your ISP over Telstra-owned cable, you shouldn't be
affected. However, you might connect to them over Telecom-owned cabling,
in which case the logon authentication is handled by Telecom, even
though your data is then passed into a Telstra company, and thence out
to the world (excluding NZ, because Telstra and Telecom don't peer with
other NZ ISPs properly)
