Hi. I'm taking a look at netstat and seeing connections to various IPs and I don't have a clue who they are.
They're almost certainly websites I've chosen to visit seeing as I'm, but it did make me wonder about how to find out more about what traffic is going in and out of my computer. Are there any visual tools under linux (I'm running Mandrake 10.1) that show remote connections and traffic to and from those connections in real time? How can I force those open connections to be dropped? Are there any other useful tools for monitoring traffic / connections? Thanks!
