Yes. Just server though, http or whatever else. > I can understand being asked for the IP address for a DNS server, but > that should be the only external IP address info the setup program needs, > and it should only need that if it is not supplied by DHCP. Remember you are at a nothing point: no hard disk, no swap, limited RAM. Do you really want to force everyone to have a DHCP server at hand? (gee thanks) Do you have a DNS server reachable? (probably) Are you able to handle DNS in the first place? (questionable) How many potential errors can you think up? How do you handle them? Ugh. Or you could just ask for the IP of the server... that always works, every time (ok unless the server has additional funny requirements). This isn't SuSE-specific either. Btw that fast.co.nz mirror is ftp://fast.co.nz/suse/i386/ I had some trouble finding it. Half of its contents seem to be "host doesn't exist". http://wiki.linux.net.nz/NewZealandLinuxMirrors Volker -- Volker Kuhlmann is possibly list0570 with the domain in header http://volker.dnsalias.net/ Please do not CC list postings to me.
