Brother linux support is news to me, this is great!

And whats more, the ppd file is in the downloadable rpm :-P

(its actually inside another file as a HERE file
cat <<ENDOFPPDFILE >$ppd_file_name
*PPD-Adobe: "4.3"
*%================================================
*%      Copyright(C) 2003 Brother Industries, Ltd.
*%      "Brother MFC-7820N for CUPS"
*%================================================

etc etc
