The applications that keep users loyal to Win, in the corporate environment at least, are;
Outlook and the features such as calendering when coupled with the Exchange mail server. Excel, if a hypothetical accountant was both a crack addict and excel user, he would probably prefer to go cold turkey on the crack. Also there are heaps of specialist business applications which have been developed to run only on Windows. The home user, in my opinion, faces less reasons to stay loyal to Win.
