It was fine for me each time cron downloaded emails avery 10 minutes. This time lucky ;) Someone from Telstraparadise called me yesterday evening to check whether my modem was going again (nice, and it was, after 17h) and said there had been a power failure, with a surge when it came back on that destroyed a pile of equipment. No mention of scheduled outage, but both may well have been consecutive. What's unimpressive is networkstatus.telstraclear.co.nz, I mean why have it in the first place if it takes 13 hours (2:00 - 15:00) to note "major problems" when nothing goes. Especially when one has known for some time in advance that nothing will go... Today it seems a bit more uptodate though.
