I have been extremely remiss - I am one of the co-organisers of the OpenOffice.org mini conference at the start of LCA. See: http://openoffice.org.nz/miniconf/index.php
Today is the last day to submit proposed abstracts for the OOoMiniConf, but so far we have received minimal interest. I have received an e-mail from my co-organiser debating whether we should cancel the OOoMiniConf. I have sent an e-mail to the LCA organisers asking if attendees of the OOoMiniConf only could pay a reduced fee for just the two days but haven't received a reply. As potential attendees what would you like/expect of an OOoMiniConf prior to a Linux conference? Thanks, Ian
