Neither do I. I spoke to Linus about it last week, and got the impression that Reiser4 would be let into the kernel when he felt it was ready "it'll get there sometime". Reiser4 has been going absolutely faultlessly for me for nearly a year, which is more than can be said for XFS, & I recon the kernel folks are being distinctly 'precious' keeping it out. Linus said he does not like the "commercial nature" of the way Hans has created R4, using paid Russian programmers to help him. Frankly, bully for him. I got the distinct feeling that personality differences and difficulties have got seriously in the way. -- CS
