I use either or, but couldn't for the life of me quantify or even explain why. I played with xfs when debian were pushing it hard a few years ago, but we didn't get on. The only one that has ever catastrophically failed on me without a hardware failure is reiser, but I'm writing from a machine that I built with it! What criteria do you use? Cheers, Steve
