Sorry, I guess I didn't explain myself clearly enough. Twice. I wasn't planning on mirroring all of the drives. I was planning on backing up the main array onto one of the hotswap drives using a bit of bash and rsync magic again. Then the two backup drives can be rotated offsite as well as having the rsync'd backup online somewhere else. hads -- I hear the sound that the machines make, and feel my heart break, just for a moment.
