It seems to do #2, 1152x864 so we should try for that first.

The slides will be ok at any resolution really, but some of the
multimedia programs take up a bit of screen room.

Actually the book lists 1280x1024 as well, odd you think they would
advertise that rather than the 1280x720.

*click* 1280x720 is 16:9 widescreen! They would want to advertise that
for movie buffs.
