Hello, Thought I would introduce myself to the list. I am currently living in the UK but am moving to Christchurch on Jun 27th, and am pleased to see there seems to be a pretty vibrant Linux community there!
My Linux experience amounts to about 8 years now (I think), with 5 years as a full time sysadmin with some reasonable sized companies here in the UK building and managing web hosting clusters and all that entails. I will be seeking some form of Linux based employment on my arrival, so if anyone has any leads they would be much appreciated. I have one semi OT question, what is the broadband situation like in Chch at present? Anyone have any recommendations / condemnations? Thanks, Malc
