You know, it really is a pity. Admittedly it's nice that you can run a high-speed service over an existing phone line, but really, some of those lines are rubbish. And it seems that no-one is going to pay to replace the lines, or to put in a cable system alongside them. In fact, if someone was to try, they'd be smacked down with a bunch of regulations or other compelling reasons not to. A
