MS has released to a select few to Beta test a program called Windows Genuine
Advantage.

An applet whose sole purpose is to detect pirated copies of Windows and nag
you until you front up with the dollars.

Your not allowed to uninstall it and it phones home and tells uncle Bill (or
should i say uncle Steve) all about you system and of course MS insists that
it can share the data to whom ever it wishes without your consent.

perhaps once other Computer knowledgable users find out about this and bork at
it Linux will become more and more mainstream.

By this i mean business start to move away from the MS platform out of
concerns to their bottom line financial position.
