As was alluded to a few times, people like to give their photos to relatives, and a calendar is a way to get the photos looked at every day for a month (for each photo). There is a printing place in town that gives away a more sophisticated calendar builder, but it creates files that only that printery are able to print. Bloody burglars. Makes a nice present though, a friend got some done. windows only of course (didn't try wine). The reason I drew attention to it in this thread was that I couldn't find the functionality once I got home and compiled gwenview, at least not until I compiled the kipi-plugins. Theoretically the plugins should now appear in digikam and in gwenview, but I still cannot find the right menu in digikam. By the way the "export to CD/DVD" option in digikam does write the photos onto the CD in their original full size, as well as thumbnails and an html interface. Nick.
