Absolutely :-) Regardless of the fact that your Linux box is currently playing the OGG file in question, you'll be able to simultaneously copy the file onto the iPod filesystem. Multiple opens/reads are commonplace in modern filesystems :-) Oh, you want to be able to *play* the OGG files with the iPod? ... :-) -jim
