I was trying to resize the first partition. This was the error message
it presented, it's all click and go.

A new ntfs driver has been brought to my attention by way of the
gentoo-user list today. ntfs-3g is apparently very good. The

There are a couple of ebuilds in gentoo-unstable for this driver. It
is very new. So new that your distro won't have it (hence me not
thinking this is newbie stuff). Do not bother me if you lost data.
